The KAWS apparel collection includes hoodies, sweatshirts, and t-shirts decorated with KAWS' iconic artwork. Some of the brand’s collaborators include Nexus7, Comme des Garçons, and The North Face.
The KAWS apparel’s collaboration with Comme des Garçons features the production of original images, which contain Comme des Garçons trademark details on shirts. Some practical items round out the seasonal capsule collection. Additionally, it features several work wear shapes that pay homage to its background, such as puffy vests and pants, in monochrome hues. Geometric patterns and French-inspired graphics provide some extra flair.
The KAWS apparel collaboration with The North Face features a seamless integration of the design codes of both partners, with KAWS drawing inspiration from The North Face's heritage and using traditional clothing as canvases for his bold and daring artwork. The North Face X KAWS collection offers technologically advanced performance and utilitarian style. The North Face's Freeride and Icons of Exploration collections feature high-quality coats and snow trousers with blended lines and fabric patches that are designed for both the mountain and the lodge. The Freeride and Icons of Exploration collections are The North Face's hallmark styles. Impossible-to-look-away patterns, on the other hand, form a subdued yet vibrant color palette: blue on black, bordered by purple swaths, forest pine dancing with sea green, and black on black.
The KAWS apparel partnership with Nexus7 features the production of OrigianlFake streetwear. OriginalFake employed Nexus7's streetwear expertise to produce graphic T-shirts and, ultimately, whole ready-to-wear collections. In addition to the regular KAWS characters, which featured diverse graphics, the Chomper detail—comically large teeth biting down—became a brand characteristic, appearing on the inside of jeans' waistbands and T-shirt collars and on a significant amount of logo-heavy outerwear.
The KAWS apparel clothing collection includes collaborations with seasoned designers, including KAWS X Dior, and KAWS X Uniqlo.
